Mike lived in more than 40+ homes while in the foster care system and experienced homelessness within 2 years of aging out. Mike has helped shaped Florida Laws and has assisted with the design/development of several statewide programs, such as My JumpVault (http://www.myjumpvault.org). In 2015, he launched My Jumpstart, a youth development organization that provides experiential learning services to promote confidence, strategy and resilience in young adults as they transition to independence. My Jumpstart is now known for their statewide youth conferences, My Jumpstart to Independence. Mike has also been named in Forbes NEXT 1000 for being a bold and inspiring entrepreneur on his way to great success and Miami Legacy Top 40 Under 40.
