The My Jumpstart to Independence conference was held on the sprawling campus of Crossbridge Church in Homestead. This conference led several youths through an 8-hour interactive conference featuring workshops to develop the participants’ competencies in financial literacy, health literacy, and social literacy. The day started with an inspiring Keynote speech by #DreamsSavers Luc and Krystal Longmire. This event was their debut in the DASH Network and a powerful one at that. The Longmire’s also offered a chance to attend their World Class Wealth Conference, a financial summit in Miami, as a grand prize to 5 attendees who demonstrated exceptional characteristics including determination, resilience, respect, and hard work. Our partners EdFed and Sunshine Health supported us greatly in our goal of educating and empowering the youth at our conference. The event also featured over ten exhibitors including but not limited to the US Navy, Ladies Learning to Lead, Miami Connected and so many more. Overall, this event was a resounding success as stories were shared, connections were made, and lives were changed. You won’t want to miss the next one!
